Tile Warranty

Most tile manufacturers warrant the original purchaser that the surface glaze of the ceramic tile will not wear in excess of industry standards as a result of a manufacturing defect, when used in normal residential conditions.
 
Consumer Responsibilities:
  • The consumer and/or installer must inspect product for any visual or material defect within the first 100 sq ft installed.
  • The consumer must maintain 20 tiles in a safe place for use in testing and/or replacement tile in the event of unforeseen occurrences such as broken tiles, cracked floors, etc. Neither Manasota Flooring, Inc. nor the manufacturer can guarantee that replacement tile will be available for purchase or will match existing tile in color, texture or exact size.
  • The consumer must maintain the original purchase invoice to validate the product.
  • Warranties are not transferable to subsequent purchasers or homeowners.
  • These are general warranty information. Warranties may vary with individual manufacturer. Call your Manasota Flooring, Inc, sales consultant for exact warranty information on your product.
  • Contact Manasota Flooring, Inc., if you believe you have a possible warranty issue regarding the product or installation.
  • Tile installed by Manasota Flooring, Inc. carries a two (2) year installation warranty.
 
Conditions Not Covered Under Warranty:
  • Conditions resulting from improper cleaning.
  • Conditions resulting from improper cleaning chemicals or abrasives.
  • Conditions resulting from surface scratching, cuts, breaks.
  • Conditions caused from willful and malicious damage.
  • Conditions caused from improper installation are not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. If installed by Manasota Flooring, Inc would be covered under Manasota Flooring, Inc. installation warranty.
  • Variations in color, texture and size from samples.
  • Problems caused by consumer’s subfloor.
